Refund Policy

This Refund Policy encompasses all services provided by Desource Translation.


Translation Services

Upon order confirmation, we immediately assign a translator to your project. To cancel an order, notify us as soon as possible. If a translator has not been assigned yet, you will receive a full refund. However, once a translator is engaged, refunds are not possible.

Partial Cancellation

Partial cancellations are accepted for specific services under the following conditions:

  • The service request is unexecuted, such as hard copies when only e-versions are needed. The refund will cover the amount paid for the hard copies if they have not been sent.
  • The cancellation request is submitted through email at, by phone at (880) 1719468988, or through online chat.
  • Interpretation Services
  • For cancellations within three days of the project, a 50% cancellation fee applies. A 100% cancellation fee will be charged if canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled job.

Editing Requests

We accept requests for edits regarding name spelling, word preferences, synonyms, and unclear words in scans. Desource Translation will promptly address these requests. We offer unlimited edits on translations done by us, but refunds or cashback are not provided for edit requests.

Mistranslations or Errors

We prioritize accuracy and implement a quality control process to ensure error-free, high-quality translations. If any mistranslation or error is found, please notify us immediately for correction.


  1. No refunds will be issued if word preferences or name spellings were not provided initially.
  2. If a mistranslation or error is due to our oversight or failure to meet quality standards, you can reject the translation and request a refund.
  3. If the error results from our failure to proofread properly, we will issue a refund depending on the compromised quality extent. Our liability is limited to error correction or issuing a refund.

Missing Sections

We take quality control seriously and strive for completeness. If any section or page is missing from the translation, contact us immediately. We will rectify the issue, and you may request a partial refund for the missing parts.

Formatting Issues

If the source document scan is unclear or desktop publishing (DTP) is unpaid, we cannot guarantee a 100% match in format. In such cases, no refund will be provided, and only plain text translation will be offered for blurred scans.

Interpreting Guidelines

Our interpreters are professionals who provide verbal interpretations of the speaker’s words without offering opinions or further explanations. Context will only be used to choose appropriate terms.

Delivery Delays

We follow a best-practice workflow to ensure accurate translations. Our delivery times, based on 2,500 words per day, are specified in each quote and subject to these conditions:

  • Word count of 2,500 or less
  • Target language is commonly spoken (not rare or obsecure)
  • Text is non-technical
  • No special formatting required

Refunds for delivery delays are available if we miss the quoted completion time:

  • Delays less than 12 hours from the agreed time – 10% refund
  • Delays more than 24 hours from the agreed time – 15% refund
  • Projects exceeding 5,000 words – discussed on a case-by-case basis.
